Waste Water is any water that has been adversely affected in quality by the influence of human impact on the environment. Sewage is the subset of waste water that is contaminated with feces or urine. Sewage includes domestic, municipal, or industrial liquid waste products disposed of, via a pipe or sewer, sometimes in a cesspool emptier. A growing world population, unrelenting urbanization, increasing scarcity of good quality water resources and rising fertilizer prices are the driving forces behind the accelerating upward trend in the use of waste water, excreta and grey water for agriculture and aquaculture.
Waste water is the liquid end-product, or by-product of Municipal, Agricultural and Industrial activity. Many Industries reuse water from their onsite industrial waste water treatment systems. In most instances, onsite treatment is the cost-effective alternative for those with sufficient space for new facilities and qualified staff to operate the treatment systems. In addition, many industries also treat their water supply prior to specific uses, such as for boiler feed water.
They should be tested before using for physical and chemical concentration. Physical parameters includes pH, Conductivity, Dissolved Solids, Suspended Solids, Suspended Volatile Solids, Total Solids, Total Volatile Solids, Temperature etc., and chemical parameters include Acidity, Alkalinity, COD, BOD, DO, Calcium, Chloride, Oil and Grease, Sulphide, Sulphate, Chlorides, Phosphates, Nitrates etc., and all heavy metals in waste water.
